OUTREACH

From the beginning, Olympic View Church has been involved in international outreach through our denominational offices located in Elgin, Illinois. The Church of the Brethren supports work in more than twenty countries and aids short and long term disaster response. Olympic View work teams have been to Malawi to build homes and to Nigeria to help build a kitchen for a boarding school.

Individuals from our congregation regularly participate in Disaster Response Units, responding to natural disasters throughout North and Central America. Money for this work is raised at an annual auction held during our District Conference every summer.

Our church provides a variety of services to the community including Thanksgiving baskets for local needy families and Christmas presents through the Salvation Army.

Refugee Family Support provides advocacy, needs assessment, assistance, cultural orientation, information, and referrals for refugee families.

The church facilities are used by various non profit organizations. Please contact the church office for more information.
