History The Olympic View Community Church has been serving the Northgate and Maple Leaf area for over 50 years. The congregation has welcomed diversity in ethnic and cultural backgrounds and has a record of international involvement through service. During the 50th anniversary in 1998 an Endowment fund was established, The Jubilee Endowment Fund. Currently, the earnings from this fund will be used to provide support to refugee families. The principle will be held to ensure future funds for community service. TREASURES " For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." Mathew 6:21 (NRSV). Wealth and material possessions are not to be ends in themselves; what matters are our attitudes toward them and how we use them for fulfillment of the Kingdom.Please give freely to the Jubilee Fund. Refugee Family Support
Olympic View Community Church is currently dedicating the earnings from the Jubilee Endowment Fund to the service of families that are taking refuge especially from war or persecution by coming to the Puget Sound area. These services may include help with food, utilities, clothing, housing, counseling, education, and medical care. Advocates will provide transportation, friendship and long term follow up. Many women and children are being settled in Seattle from countries like Sudan where war has brutalized the lives of their families and themselves. You can help these families by contributing to the Jubilee Fund.
